Senior Project Engineer - Civil

Location:  Perth

Duration: 12 months initial contract

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering.
• Have over 10 years of project engineering and management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in the mining industry, with a background in bulk earthworks, concrete work, grade separations, and railway interface projects.
• Proven ability in developing and executing schedules, preparing cost estimates, coordinating project activities, and managing contractor claims.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on budget, on schedule, and according to client specifications.

• Manage the successful delivery and completion of installation packages related to bulk earthworks, concrete works, and grade separation projects.
• Track project progress and performance against established plans, intervening as necessary to resolve issues, minimise risks, and avoid delays.
• Oversee cost performance, manage claims, and develop as well as implement project controls, including specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Ensure all work adheres to the defined scope while meeting quality and operational standards.
• Secure necessary approvals for all project documentation, such as calculations, specifications, and change orders.
