Senior Control Systems Engineer

Start Date: March 2025

Location: Perth, WA

Duration: 12 months initial contract

Requirements:

• Tertiary-qualified engineer with over 10 years of professional experience in Control Systems Engineering.
• Extensive expertise in water treatment, water movement, and wastewater management systems.
• Proven ability to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company policies in all Control Systems Engineering projects.
• Proficient in PLC platforms, including Schneider, Koyo, and Siemens.
• Skilled in RTU platforms, specifically Schneider SCADAPack RTUs.
• Experienced with SCADA HMI platforms, such as Clear SCADA/EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert.
• Proficient in process control communication protocols, including DNP3, Modbus, OPC, and Profinet.
• Adept at reading and interpreting electrical schematics, test and validation reports, commissioning documents, and change management records.
• Experienced in PLC software development using IEC languages like FBD, SCL, and LAD.
• Skilled in drive interface design, including VSDs, E/DOL, and Soft Starters.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience on Water Corporation projects in Controls Engineering
• Experience with IP radio networking
