About the role
- Our client is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to work as apart of their decarbonisation project team on a 2/1 roster flying from Perth WA
- Reporting directly into the Electrical Superintendent, this role will ensure contractors are supported to deliver projects safely, efficiently; and to high standards
Responsibilities
- Supervise multiple contracting companies and projects on-site.
- Review and approve Contractor Inspection and Test sheets.
- Conduct punch list walkdowns.
- Oversee isolation requirements.
- Interpret and assess project drawings.
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Site Teams, Contractors, and Stakeholders on relevant matters.
- Collaborate with Commissioning teams for handover and SIMOPS.
- Perform field leadership activities.
- Ensure compliance with BMS obligations.
- Maintain strong relationships and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fulfill all responsibilities under Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
- Participate in company-led training and safety initiatives.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, work instructions, and report any incidents or hazards immediately.
- Properly use assigned Personal Protective Equipment.
- Support workforce development through structured training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and continuous improvement to exceed business objectives.
- Lead with integrity, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in compliance, while holding others accountable.
- Identify and address workplace incidents in a timely manner.
Experience/Requirements
- W.A A Grade Electrical License or Tertiary qualifications as a minimum
- Relative project or construction supervision experience
- High voltage switching certificate
- Cert 4 in Instrumentation and Controls
- Experience in Fibre and communications networks
- Experience with completions management systems
- Post 10 years of electrical experience
- At least 5 years as a supervisor in mining
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence
- Experience in High Voltage distribution networks overhead and underground
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and codes of practice associated with HSE, construction, inspection, testing and commissioning.
